About Olberg camping
Olberg Camping is located in the middle of the countryside, surrounded by lush fields and green forests. We are an intimate campsite, where the hosts Heidi and Per Haakaas put everything into giving you a personal service.
We can offer quiet and peaceful surroundings.
Suitable for relaxation, hiking and recreation
Good cleaning of sanitary facilities, possibility of emptying gray water and toilets
Grass-covered campsites and 8 gravel sites
5 cabins for rent
We arrange moose safaris in minibus from mid-June to mid-August
We are open all year round, but after October 1 you must contact us before arrival.
Olberg Camping is located in the middle of the countryside, surrounded by lush fields and green forests. Olberg Camping is an intimate campsite, with camping cabins, 40 pitches with electricity and service for motorhomes and caravans.
Here’s some of what we can offer:
- Quiet and peaceful surroundings. Suitable for relaxation, hiking and recreation
- Well cleaned and modern sanitary facilities
- Grey water and toilet emptying
- Grass-covered campsite. Only a few permanent pitches
- 8 gravel pitches
- Great hiking areas both on foot and by bike
- Short distance to Oslo, Halden, Fredrikstad, Sarpsborg and Moss, all within a radius of 70-80 km
- Organizing moose safaris in a minibus in the summer
- Ice cream and soft drinks in a pleasant reception area
- Seasonally open from right after Easter to 1. Oct, or by appointment
- 5 cabins for rent with different sizes and prices
Moose safari
At Olberg Camping you can experience something completely out of the ordinary.
We offer moose safaris in a minibus.
This is a very special experience not to be missed.
Meeting the moose is a powerful experience and you can see it from relatively close range.
We’ve been running the safari for many years now, and have developed a good sense of where the local moose are.
You can observe these majestic wild animals from a safe distance.
We’re so confident you’ll see moose on this tour that we’ll give you your money back if you don’t catch a glimpse of this magnificent animal.
